This Brad from Molex cable assembly is used to transmit electrical power for industrial automation applications. It consists of four wires housed in a durable polyurethane (PUR) sheath that's resistant to wear, chemicals and heat. This makes it a good choice for use in harsh industrial environments. The cable has one female M8 connector and one unterminated end, meaning you can modify the cable to suit your application. Simply use a pair of wire strippers to remove a portion of the cable coat, then wrap the cores around the connector terminals.

These 2m leads are available in 3, 4 or 8 way versions with a straight or right angle head incorporating an M8 anti-vibration coupling nut. There is a choice of PVC cable, for general purpose applications, or high-flex PUR cable, for extra chemical resistance (typically to oil based products) or continuous flexing applications where cable durability is required.
