SICK Male 4 way M12, Right Angle to Male 4 way Straight Connector Cable, 5 m

This connector and cable assembly links M12-based field devices to RJ45 Ethernet ports for industrial data transmission. It is intended for use where a ruggedised M12 male Interface must connect to a straight RJ45 male plug, supporting Ethernet and PROFINET signalling in automation and sensor installations. The green polyurethane-sheathed lead is suited to continuous-motion environments such as drag chains and areas exposed to oils and lubricants.

In flexible operation the cable tolerates −30°C to +70°C while the connector heads remain rated up to +85°C for static parts.

The M12 end uses a screw-on fastening with a zinc die-cast, nickel-plated locking nut tightened to 0.6 Nm and a 13mm across-flats profile.

The assembly is specified for traversing speeds up to 3.3 m/s, travelling distances to 5 m and accelerations up to 2 m/s².

The cable is specified with a 2000V test voltage, rated impulse withstand of 1 kV and a current-carrying capacity of 1.5A to maintain reliable signalling in industrial networks.
