RS PRO Magnet for Use with Proximity Switch

These RS PRO proximity switch magnets can be used to detect magnets through non-ferrous metals, plastic or wood. They have a long sensing range and are generally used with linear actuators and switches. The magnets can detect very small parts and thin wires in industrial and robotics settings without contact.

The magnets are cylindrical in shape with M8 threading through the length of the body to allow for ease of use in space-dependent applications. They are 28 mm long and have a diameter of 11 mm. As part of the RS PRO series, the magnets are stringently tested for quality. You'll find that they comply with ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 Electrostatic Control Standards and ensure there's no damage due to electrostatic discharge.
