CK 2 piece Plastic High Speed Steel Screw Extractor Set

Introducing the X-OUT® Screw Extractors from CK. This hand tool set primary purpose is to extract damaged screws and threaded bolts, they are completely compatible with power tool drills with clockwise/anticlockwise rotation and variable speed control. They are made from hardened chrome-vanadium steel and suitable to remove all types of screws such as; wood, sheet metal or machine screws with slotted, cross, TORX® or internal hexagon heads.

The screw extractors can be used with a tap wrench to be securely forced into pre-drilled problem screws, and then easily turned. Where cheap or old screws have been used, it is not uncommon for the heads to become worn or broken, making them unsuitable for removal by conventional screwdrivers. By drilling into the screw head, and inserting these screw extractors with careful force, the screw can be extracted in the usual way without having to wrench or dig. This high-quality screw extractor set is ideal for those repairing or restoring machinery or furniture.

Though somewhat resistant to corrosion, it is a good idea to store your screw extractors in a dry place to further their work life. As such, it is recommended to store the tools in a case when not in use.
