Grabwire switches are a convenient way of installing two-rope pull switches on a long rope run, with common wiring and two heads
When the units are correctly installed and set, the system switching contacts are closed allowing the system to operate
If the grabwire is pulled the switch contacts will open, providing operator safety. Whether the grabwire has been pulled, gone slack or been broken, it can only be started by manually resetting the switch unit

The Craig & Derricott GWN series universal single-ended cable switch has 2NC/1NO contact configuration. These switches are a convenient way of installing two-rope pull switches on a long rope of 50m running, with common wiring and two heads. When the units are correctly installed and set, the system switching contacts are closed allowing the system to operate. If this switch is pulled the switch contacts will open, providing operator safety. Whether grab wire has been pulled, gone slack or been broken, it can only be started by manually resetting the switch unit. It is used for switch protection of personnel working in close proximity to conveyors or rotating and moving machines in various environments. This switch has an electrical contact current rating of 10A at a voltage rating of 415V. This switch has a compact, limit switch-style aluminium alloy die-cast housing and is robustly built with textured powder coat.
