RS PRO Flat Ribbon Cable, 20-Way, 1.27mm Pitch, 10m Length

Using a flat ribbon cable is a neat way to mass terminate equipment that transmits data. Commonly used with computers, audio and digital systems, this 20-way cable from RS PRO enables you to connect devices easily. It has a capacitance of 50 pF/m and characteristic impedance of 100 Ω so it's suitable for carrying data.

In a 10 m long spool, the unscreened cable is 25.4 mm wide, with seven core strands of 0.15 mm² each. It's highly resistant to temperature changes and will operate down to -20˚C without cracking and up to +105˚C without melting. It's insulated with colour-coded PVC.

You can use this cable in general-purpose settings for wiring electrical and electronic kit as it conforms to the UL 1007 standard. It also meets the electrostatic discharge standards of ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 so it won't damage equipment. RoHS compliant, it contains minimal hazardous substances.
