Eaton RCD, Type B Tripping, 25A Current Rating - PKNM Series - 236269 PKNM-25/1N/B/003-A-MW

Is workplace safety at the top of your priority list? Keep your team safe from shocks with this RCD from Eaton. When a circuit is working correctly, the live current entering the appliance and the neutral current leaving it are equal. If the device detects a difference between the live and neutral currents, it trips the faulty feed and switches off the electricity. Trip sensitivity is set at 30mA to prevent any injuries. This is a suitable option for use in electrical engineering and automation applicaitons.

Features & Benefits

• Screw terminals firmly secure your wiring to avoid accidental disconnection
• Three-position clip for easy installation on a DIN rail
• Green and red indicator clearly shows whether contacts are open or closed

What temperature range can I use this RCD in?

This RCD is suitable for use in challenging conditions, with a wide operating temperature range between -25°C and +40°C.

What's the difference between an RCD and an RCCB?

Both protect electrical installations to prevent electric shocks, but an RCD (residual current device) has overload protection whereas an RCCB (residual current circuit breaker) doesn't. An RCCB is usually paired with an MCB (miniature circuit breaker) to protect from overcurrent. This unit combines an RCCB and an MCB in a single device.
