Siemens 5SM2 Series Residual Current Device, 63 A, 3-Pole, Type A

The Siemens RC unit for 5SY has a 3-pole and type operating current 63 A and tripping residual current 100 mA. Supply voltage is 400 VAC. The RCD is the residual current device for touch protection. RCBOs (Residual current operated circuit breakers with overcurrent protection) combine residual current detection and overcurrent protection in a single device. The new 5SV1 RCBOs for the first time combine residual current and overload protection in one modular width (MW). This enables more protection devices to be installed in the distribution board and existing installations to be easily expanded with new protection functions in a space-saving solution.
