nVent SCHROFF Stacking Kit for Use with NOVASTAR 19-Inch Cabinet

From Schroff the NOVASTAR range are slim, mobile server cabinets that are designed to house 19 inch servers and racks. These server cabinets are constructed from a lightweight but strong aluminium. NOVASTAR rack cabinets can be used without a door to give you unhindered access to the front of the mounted equipment. You can fit a door (not supplied) to the front of the cabinet which features a 180° opening angle, still allowing easy access but giving greater security. Quick release side panels offer further access and are recessed flush with the front and rear uprights to keep the overall cabinet width down to a space saving 553mm.

• All uprights (front and rear) have 19 inch cut outs
• Flush cladding
• Ingress protection class IP20. IP20 cabinets provide effective protection against solid objects greater than 12.5 mm. No protection is provided against liquid ingress.
• 3 cabinet depths are available allowing you to choose the perfect network cabinet for your application. Choose from 500mm, 600 mm or 800 mm.
• Static load-carrying capacity of 200 kg (9U to 25 U) and 400 kg (34 U)

Slim line models are ideal for mobile use and are constructed from a light die-cast aluminium frame. Due to their light weight, they are very easy to transport but are still able to house equipment that weighs up to 200 kg.

Heavy duty models give you the opportunity to load more equipment into the cabinet, and can house equipment up to 400 kg. With a T groove integrated into the side of the fame, accessories and equipment fit perfectly within this server cabinet.

Both slim line and heavy duty models meet IEC-61587-1 standards which specifies the environment requirements, test set up and safety aspects for empty enclosures.
