RS PRO Pillow Block Bearing -, 40mm ID

Pillow block bearings like this two-bolt model from RS PRO are also known as plummer blocks. A special type of bearing housing made from heavy-duty cast iron, they're used to support rotating shafts in industrial equipment like agricultural or packaging machines.

The bearing housing has a pedestal mount. Offering a low-friction solution for your light load applications, the balls inside the bearing roll when the shaft rotates. The shaft and insert on this model feature two bolts rather than one, which makes it more secure.
