This 4-pin terminal block header from Phoenix Contact consists of two parts that fit on either side of a printed circuit board (PCB) panel. It makes a convenient connection point between internal and external peripherals.
The unit is mounted by simply snapping the two parts together. Its plug-in connector points require very little insertion force and won't dislodge easily, thanks to the header's spring design. This prevents wires from accidentally coming loose. The solder termination points make sure you get a join with excellent mechanical and electrical integrity.
This type of terminal strip is useful in a wide range of electrical applications where you need to guide wires through junction boxes, either because of the distance between devices or difficulty in accessing confined spaces. By installing a terminal strip in the junction box, you can conveniently inspect and maintain electrical connections.
