This printed circuit board (PCB) terminal block from Phoenix Contact is built to easily and reliably transmit signals, data and power from a PCB. The female connector has eight terminal points, with a pitch distance of 5.08 mm between each. Screw connections achieve a tight and secure fit without the need for specialised tools.
As the connector accepts wire sizes of 24 to 12 AWG (American Wire Gauge), it's a versatile choice. You can connect two wires of the same cross-section at the terminals. Robust nylon construction with tin contact surfaces ensures a long life with good protection from oxidation and corrosion. For easy installation in tight spaces, the cable and plugs are set in parallel – operation and connections are on the same side. High contact forces make sure that your electrical components are kept cool.
This unit has a fire safety rating of UL (Underwriters Laboratory) 94 V-0, meaning it stops burning within 10 seconds.
