The Wachendorff configurable gateway enables communication between CAN participants and a Profinet master. The top-hat rail mounting and the plug-in screw terminals ensure quick and safe installation and trouble-free wiring of the device. Thanks to the integrated switch, a multi-line structure is possible. With the free project planning software SW67606, the CAN IDs and the data length are defined for the bidirectional data exchange on the CAN side, which are then assigned byte by byte on the Profinet side and vice versa. A transparent mode is also possible, in which the data is simply passed through. At the end of your configuration, you generate an XML device description file that you simply integrate into your Profinet configuration. The configuration is transmitted via Ethernet.
