This communication module connects a SIMATIC S7-ET 200SP to Industrial Ethernet and integrates telecontrol protocols including SINAUT ST7, IEC 60870-5-104 and DNP3 for control-centre communication. It supports IPv4/IPv6 networking, SNMP, DHCP and secure email, and offers time synchronisation via NTP. The unit requires a bus adapter for physical connection and can be configured with STEP 7 Professional V14 (TIA Portal) or higher. It is suited to industrial automation environments where Ethernet gateway and protocol conversion are required.

Time is synchronised from an NTP server or from a connected control centre.

The Interface uses the ET 200SP bus adapter with RJ45, FC or SCRJ connectors and an integrated switch.

It supports up to 16 S7 communication connections and 16 OP connections.

Operational ambient temperature ranges are -30 to +50°C for vertical installation and -30 to +60°C for horizontally arranged busbars.

The unit supports SNMPv1/v3, DCP, LLDP, MIB support and web-based diagnostics via the ET 200SP CPU.
