RS PRO Black Acetal Rod, 1 m x 50 mm Diameter

Made from the thermoplastic acetal, this rod offers high impact resistance and mechanical strength, as well as resistance to moisture, abrasion and chemicals. It has a tensile strength of 55 MPa and has a rating of 86 on the Rockwell M Hardness Scale. It's suitable for use at temperatures of up to +100°C and has a flammability rating of UL 94 HB from Underwriters Laboratories, meaning it's self-extinguishing. It also meets the corrosion resistance standards of the DIN (Deutsches Institute für Normung, or German Institute of Standardisation).
