RS PRO Black Glass-Reinforced Plastic GRP Rod, 1m x 25mm Diameter

You can use this black nylon rod from RS PRO to create high-quality engineering parts and components. It's a nylon 66 material that is highly machinable for easy production of different structures. It offers a good level of impact strength and its 30% glass filling gives it improved stiffness to ensure reliable performance.
The rod has a Underwriters' Laboratories (UL) HB (Horizontal Burning) rating, which indicates that it will only burn very slowly, so it's safe to use in environments where it might be exposed to flames. It's also highly resistant to chemicals, has a high melting point and can be used safely up to +110°C, so it's suitable for demanding applications and environments. It's ideal for gears, wheels and bearings in aerospace equipment, as well as packaging and food processing machinery.
