RS PRO 87dB, Panel-mount Continuous Internal Piezo Buzzer
These internal piezo buzzers from our RS PRO range are ideal for connecting to industrial equipment. They can operate between 4 V DC and 28 V DC, combining a high voltage range with a loud and continuous sound.
These buzzer components can function between -30°C to +85°C and need only an 8 mA supply current. Since they don't use magnets or coils to make sound, they don't affect surrounding circuitry. Thanks to this, they're versatile and unlikely to malfunction when connected to heavy-duty, higher-voltage equipment. They can be clearly heard even in noisy environments thanks to their continuous 87 dB tone.
The buzzers conform to the ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 electrostatic control standards. Because of their robust construction and loud volume, they're commonly found as sounders on machinery in industrial workplaces.
