The Chauvin Arnoux CA5233 true RMS digital Multimeters with Type K Adaptor are ideal for the needs of electrical installers, self-employed electricians and heating or air-conditioning specialists. Compact and simple, they are exceptionally easy to read thanks to their large backlit display including a bargraph count of 6,000, 2 "Off" positions for greater effectiveness and a compact casing with a non-slip protective coating for excellent handling. Their built-in shockproof protection also makes them rugged instruments.

Similar to the CA5231, the CA5233 can carry out AC voltage, DC voltage, AC Current, DC current and resistance measurements. The unique measurement modes found only on this model include frequency/duty ratio evaluations, capacitance testing and the ability to test temperatures from -20 to 760°C by the use of an external type K thermocouple.

To help users with identifying live voltages the CA5233 Digital Multimeter has a built-in non-contact voltage detector, lighting the meter's screen with a red colour if voltages are sensed. The CA5233 also comes with a data hold functionality, relative mode for easy measurement comparisons, MIN/MAX mode and the DMM is IP54, CAT IV 600V and CAT III 600V safety rated.
