What's the difference between a type J and type K thermocouple?


While a type J thermocouple is made of iron and constantan, a type K thermocouple is made of chrome and alumel for enhanced resistance to corrosion and acids.

The U1241B ( 699-7357 ) and U1242B ( 699-7351 ) are typical of the series in that they enable users to check more with wider measurement ranges.
