Use this soft starter from Eaton to limit the supply voltage of your electric motor so it gradually ramps up. Thanks to its current rating of 12A, you can use this device to control 3-phase motors in industrial applications like heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems. The unit weighs just 0.35kg so it won't add strain to your motor. It's safe to handle without the risk of electric shock as it's sealed against contact with fingers and the back of your hand.

You can mount this soft starter using a DIN rail or by screw fixing it making it a versatile choice. Thanks to its compact dimensions of 45mm (L) x 130mm (D) x 95mm (W), it fits easily on a small motor.

This range of softstarters have become increasingly established as an alternative to the star-delta starter. The DS7 is a fully integral part of xStart and all existing components can be used. Designed for normal applications that feature pumping and ventilation machines, fans and small conveyors alongside severs and standard applications. The DS7 is also available with SmartWire-DT connection to simplify wiring and enhance functionality as an automation solution.
