Build a starter system for your three-phase motor with the help of this advanced control unit from Schneider Electric. It includes thermal protection and an overload alarm, so you can protect equipment and diagnose faults. The unit also offers phase failure and imbalance safeguards to prevent motor damage. An adjustable current setting range between 8 and 32A means you can set your protection level to match your motor rating. As it plugs straight into LUB power bases, it's easy to boost your controls.

Can I use this motor starter with squirrel-cage motors?


This starter's designed for use with AC-43 and AC-44 motors, so it can be used to operate squirrel-cage motors.

Can I use this starter in hot and humid conditions?


Yes. A TH treatment is applied to the unit, meaning it's well-suited to hot and humid environments and able to work at temperatures between -25°C and +70°C.

The TeSys U is a modular system for motor control; it enables the user to create a customised solution for their control requirements, from a series of standard modules. The plug-in modules allow the assembly and wiring before the selection of motor protection parameters and control voltages, they can be created or changed in seconds by changing the plug-in modules. A host of DOL starting applications can be catered for.

    • Tesys model U is easy to select:


    First choose a Power Base- 12A or 32A, direct on line or reversing. The power base includes 2 auxiliary contacts.

    Then choose the plug-in protection module by motor full load current and control voltage required.

    Additional plug in functions can be selected and added at any time.

    The plug-in bases can use any LU9 type blocks see stock no. 493-8779 for base option
