RS PRO Incremental Encoder 1024 PPR, Hollow Shaft


Use this RS PRO incremental encoder if you need to record the rotations per minute (RPM), speed or position of shafts in industrial machinery. It offers long-lasting performance as its body is made of die-cast aluminium. This means you can use it in demanding industrial environments, such as construction sites and manufacturing plants.


The encoder features high noise immunity to ensure reliable communication and accurate readings. It's suitable for installation in tight spaces as its through-bore design means it can be mounted on any part of the shaft. You can also install this part indoors or outdoors as it has an Ingress Protection (IP) rating of IP65, meaning it's dust-tight and will resist low-pressure waterjets. Use this encoder on any shaft with a speed of up to 6000 rpm (revolutions per minute) at temperatures of up to +80°C.
