The high resolution combined with the high IP protection class allows the use in a large number of industrial applications. Both encoders are equipped with the SSI interface, the AFM60 is additionally available with the combined SSI + incremental and SSI + sin / cos interfaces. Thanks to the large distance to the shaft bearing of 30 mm, the AFS60 / AFM60 product line achieves significantly better rotational properties as encoders with locked ball bearings. Despite the large distance of the bearings, AFS60- / AFM60 products stand out with their compact form.
