This range of multilayer ceramic capacitors from Taiyo Yuden are a reliable solution suitable for high density mounting. Taiyo Yuden MLCCs have a monolithic structure and feature higher insulation resistance and breakdown voltage allowing for greater reliability. This series offers excellent noise absorption characteristics and low ESR (equivalent series resistance). The use of nickel as the electrode material and for the plating process improves the heat resistance of the capacitors, prevents migration and improves solderability. Compared to aluminium electrolytic or tantalum capacitors, these multilayer ceramic capacitors maintain a small case size while offering high rated voltage options.

Taiyo Yuden MLCCs are suitable for use in General Electronics equipment including office automation, audio Visual equipment and household goods. Other applications include telecommunication equipment such as PCs, tablets, smartphones and wireless applications. They are also suitable to power supply bypass capacitors in liquid crystal modules and voltage lines alongside LSI, IC, and input and output converters.
