Nicknamed the MPLAB Xpress, it allows you to easily get started with developing in a simplified IDE. On-board the DM164140 is Microchips PIC16F18855 MCU. This MCU is an 8-bit device that handles low power consumption but enough performance to handle any application task. Not to mention, the peripherals of the MCU can be setup graphically using the MCC (MPLAB Code Configurator) plugin, saving you mass amounts of time. This board also allows easy system expansion with the on-board MikroBus expansion header. Over 180 MikroElektronika ClickTM expansion boards are available to be added.
