A current rating of 63A and breaking capacity of 80kA make it able to handle high-power applications. The MCCB has a single switch to manually turn a circuit on and off. What's the difference between an MCCB and an MCB?
Although both MCCBs (moulded case circuit breakers) and MCBs (miniature circuit breakers) interrupt an electric circuit when a fault is detected, they're not the same. The main distinction is that MCCBs are designed for higher loads. MCBs have a low breaking capacity, while MCCBs have a high and low breaking capacity.
