The S800 high-performance MCB from ABB is setting new standards thanks to its high nominal current range and breaking capacity characteristics, excellent selectivity and buffer protection. It is the ideal solution if you are looking to protect your systems and guarantee maximum availability. Its compact design, superb current limiting, switching position display and the interchangeable terminal adapter with extension spring connection terminals or ring connectors guarantee a high level of flexibility and convenience. Type D characteristics ensure a rapid response rate at 10–20 times the normal nominal current. Suitable for circuits that generate extremely high peak loads, e.g. transformers and condenser batteries.
