Need to count or detect objects in an industrial factory setting? Choose this limit switch from RS PRO. It has a roller plunger actuator that interacts with passing objects without interfering with their travel.

This switch comes pre-wired with a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) cable, so you can install it right out of the box. It has an IP67-rated thermoplastic housing, meaning it's fully protected against dust contamination, as well as immersion in up to 1 m of water. The thermoplastic material also ensures good resistance to impacts and chemicals, so it's suitable for use in demanding environments.

The component has two internal contacts, one normally open (NO) and one normally closed (NC), which switch position when a passing object presses down on the plunger. This type of switch is ideal for factory assembly lines.
