It is strongly recommended that these LED lamps are operated with the dedicated LED driver. In some instances the lamps will run with existing drivers and power supplies, but it is important to ensure that the required minimum wattage is reached. Use with the dedicated LED driver is recommended for greatest longevity and compatibility.
The 5W lamps will protrude from most fittings and are therefore unsuitable for enclosed fittings. Lamp life may be reduced if installed in sealed fittings.

Use this RS PRO driver to prevent damage to your LEDs (light-emitting diode) and ensure reliable operation. You can install it in series with a power supply and it will convert a high-voltage alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC). This prevents any overheating from excess voltage and keeps its power output consistent. It's a constant voltage LED driver, so it's ideally suited for lights connected in parallel, particularly if you already have a constant current driver set up.
The driver is designed to cut out and automatically restart in case of an overload or short circuit. This ensures the safety of your working environment and the protection of your equipment. The housing's Ingress Protection (IP) rating of IP20 indicates it can be touched with fingers without the internal circuitry being affected.
