RS PRO Rechargeable Sealed Lead-Acid Batteries
RS PRO introduces Sealed Lead-Acid Batteries. Ideal for uninterruptible power supply and emergency backup. These lead-acid batteries can be stored for more than six months and are valve regulated, maintenance-free. With a unique vent valve design that reduces water loss and prevents air/spark going inside. RS PRO batteries in this range are entirely maintenance-free and can be mounted in any orientation without the risk of leakage. These AGM constructed batteries are highly efficient and have excellent discharge recovery properties.

• Sealed with a unique pressure controlled vent valve reducing water loss
• Starved electrolyte design - acid solution is absorbed in separators
• Non-spill - can be operated in any position
• Outer casing made from ABS to ensure that these rechargeable batteries are durable and flame retardant
• Oxygen recombination efficiency: ≥98%
• PbCaSn alloy for plate grids: less gassing, less self-discharging
• Long shelf life with batteries being able to be stored for up to 6 months
• Rated voltage is 12V

What are AGM Batteries?
AGM batteries differ from flooded lead acid batteries in that the electrolyte is held in the glass mats, as opposed to freely flooding the plates. Glass fibres are woven into a mat to increase surface area enough to hold sufficient electrolyte on the cells for their lifetime.
