The FTDI Chip USB flash disk interface PCB only, VDrive3 Vinculum II Development Module with lid, is a USB host microcontroller development module with an enclosure. The default firmware preloaded in the VDrive3 module supports UART or SPI interfacing with a system host controller, providing a quick and easy solution for integrating USB memory stick or thumb drive access. The VDrive3 serves as a drop-in replacement for the VDrive2 in most applications. However, a small number of applications using SPI may require software changes due to a discrepancy in the SPI interface between Vinculum I and Vinculum II.
