This manual pistol grip handle assembly (stock number 120-4477) is for use with interchangeable terminating heads (please order separately) that terminate wires into a range of connectors using insulation displacement technique. This pistol handle assembly features a cam handle, a ratchet pawl, and a 'U' shaped key which secures the head in the handle assembly. Once the terminating head is installed in the handle the cam handle actuates the terminating mechanism inside the head. The ratchet control will not release until the cam trigger is fully closed ensuring a complete wire termination is achieved, the ratchet pawl can be used to release the handle before it is fully closed.
The terminating heads are used to terminate the wires into connectors and guide the connector during termination. Termination is complete once the tool is actuated. For further details and user instructions please refer to the datasheet on our website
