Each fastener is made from steel with a galvanised coating, making them much more cost-effective than their stainless-steel counterparts, while still offering a high level of protection against surface rust and oxidisation.

Hex bolts or machine bolts are designed to connect metal to metal, wood to wood or metal to wood, and offer increased rigidity and load-bearing capacity making them ideal for use in heavy duty applications. It is generally used with a pre-drilled through hole and can be used with a nut for additional anchoring. Hex bolts are most commonly used for:
