RS PRO Heating Element, 247mm, 1 kW, 230 V ac

This RS PRO quartz heating element lets you convert electrical energy into heat. You can use it in a range of domestic and commercial tasks, including curing, heating and drying. It's suitable for any process where you need medium wave infrared radiation of 1.5 to 5.6 microns.

The heater has a supply voltage of 230 V AC and a power rating of 1 kW. You can install it easily as it comes pre-fitted with two M5 x 30 mm mounting bolts on the rear, plus a 7 mm lead. Make sure you mount it with the quartz tubes horizontally otherwise the element can sag and short out.

Please note, this multi-purpose process heater works best when it's used with temperature sensing and control elements. This product should be used with adequate electrical, thermal and mechanical barriers to prevent access to hazardous parts without the use of a tool.
