RS PRO Heating Element


This RS PRO heating element can generate temperatures of up to +200°C while fitting into compact spaces. It's less than a millimetre thick and heats up and cools down rapidly, making it easy to control temperature in small spaces with precision.

The Kapton© polyimide (PI) material is highly durable, providing a long product life. It also makes the mat safe to use, as it won't release gases when heated and can stand up to frequent, thorough cleaning and sterilisation.

Heating mats like this are ideal for use in medical applications, laboratories and photographic equipment. To increase the component's efficiency, use a thermocouple and limit switch to sense and regulate the temperature.
