RS PRO Mica Heater, 200 mm x 100 mm, 300 W


These mica heating pads from RS PRO offer a superior solution for even heating of flat surfaces. They are best used when heating a small surface area to very high temperatures of +260°C. As they can withstand temperatures above +160°C, they are a good option for when silicone or film heaters are unsuitable, such as in dies, platens and moulds.

The pads are made with thin sheets of mica and measure 200 mm long and 100 mm wide. They are suitable for use between two surfaces when both require heating. As part of the RS PRO series, they are stringently tested for quality and consistency.

For ensuring optimum performance, these heaters must be temperature-controlled and fitted correctly. Mica heaters are frequently used in process machinery in industrial settings, like air heaters, enclosure systems and packaging equipment.
