This VGA-to-HDMI cable from RS PRO uses an active converter with a chipset to convert the digital High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) signal to an analogue Super Video Graphics Array (SVGA).
The HDMI connector is fitted with gold-plated contacts that resist corrosion and ensure accurate transmission of data, while the contacts on the SVGA connector are nickel-plated for durability. The cable is sheathed in sturdy, flame-retardant black PVC for increased safety and a long service life. The two male connectors are housed in a tough thermoplastic that's highly resistant to impact damage.
