The Microchip High-current buffer/driver is capable of driving large MOSFETs and IGBTs. It is immune to any form of upset, except direct overvoltage or over-dissipation, and cannot latch under any conditions within its power and voltage ratings. The device operates correctly even with up to 5V of ground bounce present on its ground terminals. It can accept over 1A of inductive current (either polarity) forced back into its output without damage or logic upset. Additionally, all terminals are fully protected against up to 4 kV of electrostatic discharge (ESD).

Input will withstand negative inputs up to 5V
