The CAMaster range of fully shrouded HRC fuse holders are fitted with a cam which allows the carrier to be easily removed from the fuse base. This improves the contact pressure between the fuse carrier and fuse base contacts, in turn improving electrical performance.

The fuse carrier is designed to readily allow 2 pole and 3 pole ganging making this a modular fuse holder which provides improved circuit protection and safety related to the isolation of the electrical circuits by ensuring the correct related poles are removed at the same time.

These fuse holders are front connected but have a unique conversion capability. Using a back stud accessory the standard fuse holders can be converted from a front connection type to back stud and double back stud connection types.

The fuse holders cable terminations incorporate stainless steel saddles and hardened termination screws which maintain a permanent cable clamping to the profiled contact plates. The unique and user convenient design allows for high tightening torques without damage to cables or threads and provides resistance to high cable pull out forces ensuring long term reliability.

Supplied with hardened termination screws which are already backed out ready for cable insertion and are held in captive hinges to prevent loss and ease fuse holder installation.

This range of fuse holders are dual mounting and are compatible with both panel mounting and DIN rail mounting. The DIN rail mount features are manufactured to have equal height and depth above the DIN rail for each of the standard DIN rail dimensions.

The live parts of this fuse holder are fully shrouded within the fuse base by hinged internal shields. The hinged design of these shields mean that inserting of the fuse carrier can only be made with them correction positioned ensuring the protection of the fuse and holder during installation.

The fuse holder has a marking label for ease of circuit identification and is compatible with neon clip-in indicator accessories to help easily identify the status of the fuses.
