The crimp spade connector is made from copper with tin plating, so it's an effective conductor. The vinyl insulation is flared for easy wire insertion and colour-coded according to wire size. This spade terminal is designed for wire sizes in the range of 0.5 mm² to 1.5 mm². It has a stud size of M4, with stud size indicating the diameter of the stud that the spade terminal is being placed around – in this case that's 0.4 mm.
