RS PRO Male Firewire to Male Firewire Cable, Grey, 2m

This FireWire cable assembly from the tried and tested RS PRO range can be used to transfer both power and data to your device through just the one cable.

The two-metre-long cable is fully shielded to protect the signal from crosstalk and electromagnetic interference. Terminated at both ends with a 6-pin FireWire plug, this assembly offers high transfer rates without requiring a host controller. Cables can be daisy-chained together for longer runs.

The assembly complies with the IEEE 1394 interface standard in common use across computing and AV equipment. It also conforms to ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 Electrostatic Control Standards and is RoHS compliant on hazardous substances. This type of cable assembly can be used to set up ad hoc networks as well as to connect digital cameras, hard drives and scanners to Macs and PCs.
