Guarantee Fibre connectors are free from oils, dust and particles with this cassette tape cleaner from AFL. The cleaner is a trusty solution to prevent damage to Fibres that causes poor performance.

Fitting into the Palm of a hand, this tool is lightweight and has a push-button release, which means you'll only use the amount of tape required for the job. Its ergonomic design makes it suitable for use by both left-handed and right-handed users. Unwanted dust on the fibres is minimised as they're only exposed when the cassette cleaner is in use.

This tape is a better cleaning solution than IPA (isopropyl alcohol), which is toxic, flammable and leaves a residue on Fibre ends. Each cleaner gives you more than 400 wipes and replacements are available from AFL. Cleaner such as this is often used in static-sensitive environments, such as optical modules in MR scanners, as it has excellent anti-static properties.
