RS PRO 2-Port Punch Down Wiring Box, Cat5e, UTP

Commonly known as ethernet cables, Cat5e cables are used to connect computers to a network hub, like a router. As a result, it's important when coupling two Cat5 ends to maintain the 350 MHz speed of the cables.

These wiring boxes consist of PCB-mounted punch-down blocks which create a super-tight connection between cables. This is all held within a 25 mm wide plastic case with strain reliefs that allow flexibility in the cable. Connections are clearly marked on the case, making it easier to follow a wiring sequence. There are two easily accessible ports for a simple, straight-through connection.
