It has 24AWG (American Wire Gauge) copper wires, which are highly conductive for fast and effective transmissions. This makes it suitable for use in demanding applications like Power-over-Ethernet and video streaming in 4K or 1080p. The RJ45 connectors are plated with 50-micron gold, which is corrosion-resistant for an extended service life.

Its 50-micron gold connectors deliver optimum conductivity and eliminate signal loss due to oxidation or corrosion. It is manufactured using high-quality copper conductors and carefully constructed and tested to keep near end crosstalk (NEXT) well within acceptable limits. This cable is constructed with 24 AWG copper wire, to ensure peak performance for demanding Ethernet applications such as Power-over Ethernet and 4K or 1080p video streaming.
