These plugs fit in ear canals between 5mm and 14mm in diameter, making them a one-size-fits-most option.

The 3M™ E-A-R™ E-A-Rsoft™ FX™ earplugs have a smooth tapered shape designed to help fit most ear canals and offer substantial ear protection. These are made from a durable material and are easy to use again and again. The soft, slow recovery polymer foam warms to body temperature and becomes softer to allow the earplug to mould to the individual's ear canal. With a noise reduction of up too 39 dB they reduce hazardous levels of noise.

The E-A-R™ E-A-Rsoft™ FX™ are made from a slow expanding foam, which can provide an excellent seal to the shape of your ear canal. The yellow neon colour and orange cord allow the user to locate them when working or when someone is using earplugs.

The 3M ES-01-021 earplugs have a smooth, dirt repellent pods for greater hygiene, longer life and a comfortable fit. They provide excellent noise protection value of 39 dB.

There is no standard size for earplugs and most are one size fits all. However, some manufacturers have small, medium and large.

Soft foam earplugs must be discarded once they are dirty. Disposable foam earplugs may not be washed or cleaned. Depending on the working environment and the employee's ear hygiene, these foam earplugs may need to be replaced at the end of the day or possibly a couple of times a day.
