From RS Pro a high-quality brush strip or brush seal which is a type of draught excluder designed to seal the gap between the bottom of a door and the floor to prevent draughts and keep in heat. As well as draught proofing, this brush strip also helps prevent dust and debris like leaves and litter from entering the threshold of a building or factory from outside. The brush strip consists of an aluminium carrier with a 180° mounting angle containing a brush made up of a row of black nylon bristles.
