The StarTech.com cable facilitates the connection of a 4K/8K DisplayPort 1.4-enabled monitor to a source or MST-enabled hub with ease. With a unidirectional design and conveniently labelled connectors for source and display, setup becomes simplified. VESA certification guarantees seamless performance and compatibility with DisplayPort-enabled devices, supporting DP 1.4 with backward compatibility to DP 1.3/1.2. Its durable design incorporates a flexible TPE outer jacket to reduce wear, along with robust strain reliefs for soft and flexible bends.

Gold-plated latching DP connectors offer improved conductivity and secure attachment, preventing accidental disconnections. Supporting all DP 1.4 features, including resolutions up to 8K 60Hz, HDCP 2.2, HDR10, and DSC 1.2, this cable is also backward compatible with previous DP versions. Constructed with aluminum-mylar shielding to minimize EMI interference, this VESA-certified DP cable ensures clear and reliable audio/video output, making it ideal for long-term reliability in various setups like boardrooms, video walls, and TV signage installations.
