It accepts an input from an ultra-wide 4:1 range from 9 to 36V DC and outputs a carefully controlled ±12V DC you can safely use with your battery-operated equipment. Thanks to the unit's high efficiency of 80%, it produces little waste heat and there's no need for a fan or heatsink to keep it cool. The standard DIP-24 format is Compact at 32 (L) x 20 (W) x 10.2mm (D). You'll find it easy to fit securely onto your PCB with through-hole mounting.
