It's powered by a long-lasting battery with a 12-month lifespan, so it'll perform reliably for a long time without the need for an external power supply.

How does an NTC probe work?


Negative temperature coefficient technology involves detecting temperature from a change in resistance, as the resistance decreases with an increase in temperature. This makes the NTC thermistor or probe highly sensitive for greater accuracy.
