AMPLIMITE series 90 high density MIlitary Specification cable mount d-sub plug and receptacle connectors conforming to the military specification of MIL-C-24308 Ideal for use in military equipment, ground support devices, computer peripheral equipment, modems and industrial instrumentation. These AMPLIMITE series 90 Mil Spec d-sub cable connectors are available with cadmium plated steel shells (part numbers 2045xx-1) or zinc plated steel shells (part numbers 175782x-1) whilst stock number 718-3865 has a gold plated brass shell. All versions of these MIL Spec d-sub connectors have black PPS GST-40F inserts as per MIL-M-24519, 3.05mm mounting holes and retention clips. The size 22 contacts for these series 90 d-sub military Mil Spec cable connectors are not supplied and must be ordered separately, see stock number 718-4004 for crimp pin contacts and stock number 718-4001 for crimp socket contacts. The series 90 military spec d-sub cable connectors will mate with any other connector that has the same insert arrangement.
